In our business we get to meet a lot of interesting people. Ashley Wright is the Area Coordinator for Central and South Alabama for the Southeastern Guide Dog. Guide Dogs, in case you didn't know, are trained for the blind. They go through extensive training for 2 years, to be prepared for any situation. Ashley brought Roman to us before he was sent off for his next level of training. As the dogs go through the program and graduate, and then on to their new owner, trainers can follow the dogs to check on them to see how they are adapting, but may never see them again. This is what he wore throughout his training as a puppy. When she put this on him, his entire demeanor changed.... He knew it was time to work. Meeting people like Ashley is one of my favorite things about our business.
